Sometimes great ideas strike you from the heavens, and sometimes it’s given to you, free of charge, by Twitter. Last week I woke up to find my friend @xaotica asking:

who’s gonna provide a good space for a regular night owls late night coworking meetup in seattle? (via @rlotz)

Jigsaw Renaissance is a twenty four hour space, so it made perfect sense to me that we should host coworking sessions for insomniacs. I’m frequently up way too late, and love having the ability to come over to Jigsaw at any hour of the day and work. But too frequently past midnight I’m the only person in the space, and it would be great to have the camaraderie that coworking provides while working at two AM.

So, on December 16th from ten PM till four AM on December 17th, we’re going to try out having a late-night coworking session at Jigsaw. I’ll be facilitating the event, which means I’ll worry about setting up and having coffee, soda, and snacks available. Assuming that turnout is decent we’re hoping to have these monthly, and if this is a popular event I can see these taking place weekly.

SEANightOwls first session will be free to members of Jigsaw, and five dollars for non-members.

RSVP for SEANightOwls after the break.
