Alan Widmer hosted SCoW last week and submitted this report:
A good mix of makers turned out for SCoW this week. We were greeted by a large box containing 9 brand new Weller WLC100 soldering irons that we earned from the Great Global Hackerspace Challenge.
The JigTwitch was connected to the new hacked router to see if we could get a reliable connection and bring back the beloved tweets. It even appears to work!
The renovation of Jigsaw’s new room at Inscape is coming along nicely :0
Josh, Budi and Georgia were thinking about moving a robot. No, seriously—they were actually moving the robot using brainwaves. Josh’s always cool EPOC controller connected via an Arduino to his bot.
Finally the keyless door project IACS starts coming together. Alan got stuck getting the Arduino connected but as often happens at Jigsaw there was an Arduino expert (Dan) on hand to help out.
